Posted June 14, 2019 11:23:16 Wood chipping fences are great for keeping unwanted debris out of your yard.
They’re easy to install, and can be built in a matter of hours.
First, cut a piece of 2 x 4 lumber that’s about 1/2 inch wide.
Cut the piece to size and then add the wood chipping.
Use a hammer to hammer the wood into place.
Cut a piece that is a little bigger than the fence you’re planning to install.
You can use a 1/4 inch nail or a 1 inch nail, or any other appropriate tool.
Drill a 1-inch hole in the wood.
Cut two small holes at each end of the fence.
Secure the fence to the other side of the chippING fence by using a screw driver or by using wood glue.
Wood chipping fences are not recommended for older homes, because they can weaken the fence over time.
If you’re going to install these, get a 2-inch fence to match.
Next, cut two pieces of 1 x 6 lumber that are about 3/4 inches wide.
Add one of the wood cutting boards to each piece of wood and secure them by using glue.
Now secure the fence with a piece 1 x 8 to the outside of the wall.
Secure it with a 1 x 12 to the inside of the enclosure.
If the fence has no edges, cut out a small hole in it to add a gap for the wood to run over the fence, which can be used for additional wood trim.
Woodchipping fences should not be used in conjunction with wood trimming.
Wood trimming fences are a good way to keep unwanted wood from getting into your yard, but you’ll probably want to trim the fence after the fence is installed.
The wood chipped fence can also be used to add new furniture to your home, such as furniture or appliances.
