Zach Woods, the owner of the wooden ladder that was featured in the MTV reality show “Wooden Ladder” died Monday, the company confirmed.
Woods, of Portage, was 56.
The Woods family released a statement Monday saying Woods died Monday at his home in Portage Township.
The family has not provided a cause of death.
The wood ladder that featured on MTV’s “Woody Ladder,” which featured Woods and his wife, Tracey, has been featured in a number of online photos.
The “Woodey Ladder” wooden ladder has been sold at a number and in different configurations, including a two-foot wooden step stool.
It was designed to be a versatile, portable ladder that can be used for almost anything.
Woodes built the wooden step-stool in 1974, according to the company’s website.
He built it with a few pieces of lumber and two screws.
The stool was then used as a base for other items including a bathtub and a desk.
