DeMarco “Murray” Murray was not in a good mood Tuesday, as he and his team sat down for a team meeting to discuss the team’s season.
The Cowboys running back has had surgery on his right foot and has yet to practice since last month, when he tore his left Achilles tendon.
Coach Jason Garrett told reporters on Tuesday that Murray was still working on his foot.
Murray has been out of action since Aug. 6, when his right ankle broke off while attempting to tackle a runner in a game.
He has not played since.
Murray said during Tuesday’s media availability that he was in good spirits, but was “not in a very good mood.”
“I just think I got up and left it out there,” Murray said.
“I’m just not in it right now.
So I guess that’s my only comment, that I’ll have to get back to you on that.”
The Cowboys will play the Rams on Thursday night.
